What is Mosaic Counseling & Wellness?

At Mosaic Counseling and Wellness, our team of mental health experts provides you, your child and family with resources, support, guidance and relief. We believe in a holistic approach and individualized care.

What services does Mosaic provide?

We offer services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Whether you’re seeking services for yourself, your child or your family, we can help. We provide assessments, therapy, medication management and the skilled support and guidance of highly qualified professionals. We will work collaboratively with you to custom-create a treatment plan which will best address and support your specific needs and therapy goals. Our staff works together as a cohesive team to provide you with the best possible care every step of the way.

What is 'Integrated Care'?

Integrated Care also means coordinated care. What that means to us is providing high quality therapy and psychiatry within one team. Treatment works best within teams - teams who communicate and coordinate care. At Mosaic our clients can choose to see a therapist, psychiatrist, or both. This unique approach is less overwhelming, more compassionate, and best practice.

What does 'Holistic Integration' mean?

Holistic Integration means treating individuals as a whole-person and providing a variety of treatment modalities which afford healing and wellness. We believe in traditional talk therapy as a highly effective treatment modality.  We also believe in the efficacy of the Creative Therapies: Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy and even the healing power of laughter through Improv. Integrating our minds and bodies in the path to wellness is both evidence informed and highly effective.

Where are you located?

We offer convenient hours in Oak Park and Elmhurst, including evenings and weekends.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept BCBS PPO, AETNA, CIGNA, UNITED insurance plans as well as self-pay. We can also assist you in submitting for reimbursement from other insurance companies.

How to connect with us/What to expect...

To learn more about our services or to schedule an appointment, please contact us at 708.628.8000 or at info@mosaiccare.com. One of our team members will return your communication within 2 business days. During the initial call, our team will answer any questions you may have regarding the therapeutic process, fees, insurance, schedules, or other clinical questions. We will work with you to gain an understanding of your need for therapy and your preferences. We can then schedule you with a therapist from Mosaic and/or assist in referring you elsewhere. Goodness of fit is the most critical element of therapy and we will partner with you even when we are not the right team. Our goal is to schedule a session within two weeks of our call.

Our responsibility to you under the No Surprises Act...

In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to make clients aware of their federal rights and protections against “Surprise Billing”.  This Act provides that we notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification in instances where services are rendered by an out-of-network provider, if a client is uninsured, or if a client elects not to use their insurance.Your clinician can provide a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services provided to you and a fee schedule for those services.  As it is often difficult to anticipate the length of treatment for mental health care, and each client has a right to decide how long they would like to participate, we encourage you to periodically collaborate with your clinician to determine your progress forward.If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
