The Grow Collective Team has been proud to provide quality mental health services to the Glen Ellyn community and surrounding suburbs. We are pleased to share that the quality care which has been offered for the last 20 years will be continuing under new ownership. This transition will include enhanced and expanded access to care for our current clients, along with future clients. As creating access to high quality therapy has been our mission since inception, we are pleased to introduce you to Mosaic Counseling and Wellness.

Mosaic Counseling and Wellness will begin a new chapter in Glen Ellyn with operations at the same downtown location and with many of the same tremendous clinicians. We will continue to work diligently to ensure that we make this transition without interruption in the care you receive.

  • Maintaining the downtown Glen Ellyn location with a refreshed environment to enhance your client experience.

  • Consistent network of accepted insurance plans.

  • Expanded administrative support team to further enhance scheduling and communication.

  • The addition of Psychiatry and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for access to medication management and prescription needs.

  • Mosaic provides Creative Arts Therapy (Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and Dance Movement Therapy).

  • Mosaic has four other locations to assist in providing accessible and convenient care (Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Oak Park, Orland Park).

What To Expect - Current Clients

  • You will receive written communication outlining the transition and how to navigate any future needs associated with your care at Grow. As an example, if down the road, you need access to your medical record, instructions and support will be provided.
  • A welcome to Mosaic Counseling and Wellness with instructions on how to become a Mosaic client. Most of the clinical staff is joining the Mosaic team, so our clients should see little interruption to continuity of care. Our Electronic Medical Record system is Simple Practice; we hope you find it easy to navigate. Assistance will be offered with any support needs.
  • We will largely accept the same insurances. Copays and deductibles could be different as they vary by contract. We will be available to go through this with you individually if you have questions/needs.
  • If you wish to transfer your care internally to a new Mosaic provider, we are happy to assist with this.
  • If you wish to pursue care outside of Mosaic, we can assist with other community referrals.
  • If you wish to enhance or augment care (medication management, creative arts therapy, individual, couples), we will gladly assist with that.
  • We think you will appreciate some planned improvements of the therapeutic space/furnishing as evidence of our care for you and the environment of care.
  • The Leadership teams of both organizations are committed to a smooth transition as client care is our shared priority.

As we embark on this new chapter, Mosaic understands that you may have important questions about your care. Below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. For any other needs, please feel free to let your clinician or our office staff know. We are here to support.

Who is Mosaic?

Mosaic is an integrated, hope based organization committed to mental, behavioral, and emotional wellness. Our mission is to help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by improving access to trusted and personalized mental healthcare. At Mosaic we employ psychotherapists, licensed social workers, psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, psychologists and operate five locations throughout the western suburbs.

What’s happening to my mental health provider?

This process does not change your access to the high-quality mental health care you received nor the location where it is received. In fact, it will enable us to offer new clinicians, new services and new locations to be most responsive to your needs.

What changes will clients see as a result of the transition?

You will see a few enhancements focused on streamlining your access to care. These changes will improve your ability to schedule appointments, communicate with your provider, and access medical records/forms.

Over time, you can expect to see additional changes such as:

  • A change to the logos on printed materials, signage, and electronic communication.

  • A new Electronic Media/Record (Simple Practice) which will give you easy access to client forms, scheduling, and many other great resources through our client portal. Look out for more information on the new client portal soon.

  • Our website redirecting to www.mosaiccare.com. This site will provide access to the client portal, telehealth waiting rooms, online booking options, information on mental health conditions, and more.

Will billing or insurance change for clients?

Mosaic accepts Aetna PPO, BCBS PPO, Cigna PPO, United Health Care PPO and Medicare. As part of this transition, you may see some changes in your explanations of benefits, which will change to Mosaic. You may also see changes in your out-of-pocket costs and fees for visits, dependent upon the specific contract with your insurance carrier. You can also expect to see the new Mosaic logo appearing on bills soon. We are excited about this new chapter, and we hope you are too.
