Thank you so much for viewing my profile. I know that asking for help may be difficult. I am also aware that finding a therapist, with whom you can fully connect, might be challenging. I believe that finding a “safe place” is the first step in the process of understanding who you truly are and who you were always meant to be. I hope to achieve this in our therapeutic relationship by offering insight and feedback when appropriate, while always providing empathy and compassion. In our time together, I will offer a non-judgmental, person-centered, warm and relational approach. I enjoy the process of getting to know someone before utilizing any one specific framework. Once that occurs, I will then refer to several therapeutic modalities which would best serve the needs of each individual client. I believe that each person deserves to be the writer of their own story. In the past, they may have had chapters written by others but are now deciding to rewrite those narratives to reflect their own truth. It is my hope to create a space where we can explore different ways to embrace the story that most represents your values, goals, and desires. I received my Master’s degree from DePaul University and then earned my clinical hours and 6 years of experience working in a community mental health setting. I have found success and satisfaction working with people who have experienced some of the following: depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, complex trauma, ineffective communication skills, difficulty setting healthy boundaries, repairing relationships, life transitions, grief and loss. It would be my honor to share a safe space with you where you will be encouraged to embrace your true self. I offer hybrid services via in-person and telehealth. Appointments are available at the Elmhurst location or virtual. I look forward to meeting you.
