Therapy Intern
Jeni Eklund
Clinical Intern
I am passionate about providing compassionate care to help you feel empowered to navigate life more intentionally and authentically. As a therapist, I prioritize creating a warm, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your experiences, emotions, and values with curiosity and self-compassion. My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. I draw on multiple treatment modalities, including narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and ACT. I also incorporate art-based and play-based interventions when relevant, as I believe that creativity can be a powerful tool for reflection and growth.
I enjoy working with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults navigating experiences of anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ identity.
I am available to meet with clients in person at Mosaic’s Oak Park location. It is a privilege to walk with you on your path to healing, and I look forward to hearing your story and witnessing your growth!
