I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University. I chose counseling as a career because I strongly believe in the uniqueness of each individual and allowing them a chance to be heard. I enjoy getting to know each one of my clients and working together to meet individual goals. Most importantly, I am fascinated by the inner workings of the mind, motivating others, and advocating for clients. I have had the privilege of a rewarding career working with children, adolescents, and families involved with a variety of settings in the social services field such as counseling agencies for the Department of Child Services, day treatment, and the crisis emergency department. I have experience working with clients learning to overcome challenges such as trauma-related disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, mood and personality disorders, and life transitions. I utilize multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy. I look forward to the opportunity of working and building new relationships with the Mosaic Counseling & Wellness team. I am thrilled and passionate for the opportunity of working with children, adolescents, and adults both virtually and in person at our Orland Park location.
