As a person, I understand how important mental wellness is and the effort it takes to maintain it. In 2017, I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago, IL. Since then, I have worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, health centers, and virtually. My hopes are to assist you and your family in making changes for the better. The population I work with range from ages 6 to 64. This includes working on parenting strategies for those children younger than 6.
Therapeutic techniques used includes, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also incorporate play-based and art-based therapeutic techniques, making therapy interactive for children and adolescents. I provide gender affirming care, as well as practice multicultural competence
With a client-centered approach, you are the expert of your own life. Let's work together to create realistic goals that you are able to see progress throughout your daily life activities.
