Viviana Arenas
I’m Viviana Arenas, a dedicated bilingual therapist with extensive experience supporting children, teens, families, couples, and individuals through life transitions, trauma, and emotional challenges. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a Counseling Specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have been providing therapeutic services since 2013.
With a deep commitment to holistic healing, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, and somatic interventions to address anxiety, trauma, and relationship dynamics. I specialize in perinatal and postpartum mental health, co-parenting strategies, and conflict resolution.
I have worked in diverse settings, including private practice, hospitals, and community mental health organizations. My background includes experience in crisis intervention, domestic violence support, and family therapy. In my current practice, I offer individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as workshops focused on emotional regulation, communication, and relational connection.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a keynote speaker and corporate presenter, educating professionals, parents, and teens on mental health awareness, parenting strategies, and substance use prevention.
I also collaborate with schools to coordinate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring students receive the necessary accommodations for their mental health and learning needs. I assist in integrating neuropsychological testing results into these plans, advocating for appropriate educational support and intervention strategies.
I’m passionate about empowering my clients to achieve emotional well-being, build resilience, and navigate personal and relational challenges with confidence.
