“You can’t pour from an empty cup.”
Hello! I'm Kasey, a compassionate clinical therapist with a diverse background in supporting individuals of all ages. I approach therapy with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a strengths-based perspective, recognizing the resilience and potential within each individual. Whether it is navigating childhood challenges, coping with life transitions, or managing mental health concerns, I strive to create a safe and empowering space for growth and healing. My therapeutic approach is varied, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapy, mindfulness therapy, and person-centered therapy, among others.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you can find me exploring nature on my bike, playing with my dog, finding a new workout routine, or enjoying quality time with loved ones.
By promoting self-awareness and positive coping skills, I aim to empower my clients to overcome obstacles and thrive in their lives. I'm excited about the opportunity to collaborate with you or your loved ones on the path to healing and growth. Together, we can navigate life's challenges and cultivate a brighter tomorrow.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Intellectual Disabilities, as well as clients experiencing chronic pain. With a focus on both children and adults, I bring several years of experience in providing comprehensive mental health care across inpatient, therapeutic day schools, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and outpatient settings.
I gained my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Trinity Christian College. My journey in the field began with a passion for understanding and addressing the diverse needs of individuals struggling with mental health challenges, specifically those with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities. In each setting, I've had the privilege of working closely with clients and their families, offering support and guidance through their healing journeys. I believe in the power of collaboration and tailor my therapeutic interventions to meet the specific goals of each individual or family.
