As a therapist, I am here to provide validation and understanding while we work together to untangle the confusion and challenges you may face daily. My role is to help you identify your personal values, set meaningful life goals, and develop effective coping skills, while we work through your past and present experiences that may be clouding your strengths. Most of my experience is with adolescents and young adults. I have worked in a variety of settings ranging from therapeutic schools to residential treatment centers supporting children, teens, and their families navigate their mental health and family dynamics to bring them closer to understanding and healing. I am available in person at the Orland Park location as well as virtual. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling at Roosevelt University in 2017. I completed my internship at a group outpatient practice. I then went to provide social skills and emotion regulation training at a therapeutic school. In residential treatment, I was able to provide individual, family, and group therapy with a focus on DBT while working with a large team of therapists and psychiatrists to create a holistic approach for the residents. I strongly believe in the transformational potential of our collaborative work, and I am committed to providing empathetic listening, fostering understanding, and validating your experiences. My approach prioritizes honesty and transparency, and I am eager to join you on your journey. Let's start working together by scheduling a brief consultation today.
