I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience providing trauma-informed care for youth and families impacted by abuse and complex trauma. I practice with the intention of creating a safe and affirming space that can support healing and develop trust.
In doing this work, I have found that healing is often not linear but therapy can provide a space for connection and clarity along the way. My approach aims to be collaborative and relational, believing that people already have many of the tools within themselves to navigate the process. I am passionate about providing therapy from a holistic lens and embracing how mind, body and emotional wellness are connected.
In sessions, I may draw from attachment-based and trauma-informed practices, internal family systems and somatically attuned approaches to inform our work together. I also enjoy integrating creativity and expressive arts as ways to explore and self-reflect.
I have extensive experience in working with those impacted by intergenerational trauma, sexual violence, family of origin issues, attachment ruptures and/or childhood trauma. I have also had the opportunity to work with those managing depression, anxiety, suicidality and self-injury, identity exploration, cultural and social marginalization, women’s issues and relationship conflict. I have provided individual, family inclusive and group therapy and especially love working with older adolescents, young adults and adults. I appreciate the unique needs during life transitions and welcome working with diverse backgrounds and identities.
Wherever you are in the process of seeking support, I would be honored to accompany you and build a space where you are heard, accepted and able to be your authentic self.
