Every person has a story that deserves to be heard and nobody should have to go through chapters, easy or difficult, alone. Therapy is a place to assist you in finding tools, guidance, healing and a voice. In my practice as a therapist, I strive to create a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental environment. I take a holistic approach to psychotherapy when it comes to working with individuals and utilize a strength-based and goal-oriented framework. By meeting clients where they are, I provide a compassionate, caring, and understanding space wherein you are able to reflect, express and process your unique chapters. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults particularly those with co-occurring diagnoses. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing difficulty regulating emotions, getting to school/work, and or simply believing in themselves. I have previous experience working in intensive outpatient programming for adolescents as well as substance use for adolescents. I work from multiple theoretical frameworks depending on the individual. Most commonly I incorporate motivational interviewing, art-based techniques, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
