LCPC
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 11 years of experience in the mental health field. I graduated with a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago in 2011 and have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and most recently private practice. I know that making the decision to begin therapy is not always easy, but it is something to be proud of because it is the first step towards healing.
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and have provided individual and family therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach is centered on evidence-based therapies to help individuals address life stress and develop effective coping mechanisms. One of my guiding principles for therapy is “every new day is a chance to change your life.” I am also a strong believer in the power of a positive mindset, which can help create positive change within oneself and lead to building a rich, meaningful life.
I have specialized training and experience in working with issues specific to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, women’s issues, life transitions, self-esteem, trauma, and grief.
