I earned my Masters of Arts in social work from the University of Chicago and a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I have been in private practice for over 20 years, working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples. I help clients with school and peer issues, crisis management, sexual identity, PTSD, grief counseling, depression, anxiety, and parents and children with issues related to divorce. Previously, I was the Director of the SASS (screening, assessment and support services) program serving clients in the near west suburbs. As a Certified Yoga Teacher, I believe in the mind-body connection and mindfulness treatment. I also believe that an authentic therapeutic relationship is paramount, which is why I meet each client where they are, providing a compassionate, non-judgemental experience.
