Hello hello, thank you for stopping by to read my bio! My name is Yesenia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in the state of Illinois. I was born and raised in Chicago and value the diversity that each individual brings. Acknowledging and celebrating your strengths while also working through your challenges, I believe is a much needed balance to reach your goals. Whether your goal is to process your childhood trauma, recent loss, or a life transition, I am here to meet you where you are at and support you as we work through it.

I have always had a passion to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to be able to work through their mental health challenges. I feel committed to helping individuals in our communities and supporting them in the process of becoming stable, empowered, and fulfilled. I graduated in 2018 from Loyola University Chicago Master’s of Social Work with a Specialization in Children and Families. I am passionate and experienced in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adults of all genders impacted by domestic violence, trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship issues, stress, and self-esteem. I also have experience working in a Domestic Violence Non-Profit Organization, Partial Hospitalization Program, and Intensive Outpatient program.
